The last cycling trophy of the Challenge Mallorca Femenina was awarded today at the Trofeo Binissalem-Andraxt. Here, too, the race started on rather flat terrain and then became a little more mountainous with the Coll d'en Claret (2KOM; 3km/4.5%) and the Coll de sa Gramola (3KOM; 3.8km/4.2%) before the riders made their way towards the finish.
At this women's cycling event to kick off the 2024 season, the riders also gave their all to set their status for the new season and, if necessary, send a signal to the competition. After a minor crash about half an hour before the finish caused a bit of a stir, the last breakaway riders were caught in the final minutes before the finish.
The race was won by Eleonora Camilla Gasparrini from UAE Team ADQ, followed by Noemi Rüegg from EF Education-Cannondale and Nadia Quagliotto from LABORALk Team.
