At today's cycling event on Mallorca, the Trofeo Palma Femina, many women were once again fighting for a title win at the start of the year.
The race started a little flatter at first, but then got steeper as the riders had to climb a second-category climb and two third-category climbs towards the finish, the Castell de Bellver.
Canadian Magdeleine Valliers Mill from EF Education-Cannondale was the deserved winner in the end ahead of Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio from AGInsurance-Soudal Quick-Step Team and Spanish rider Mavi Garcia, who both finished 16 seconds behind the leader.
