Whilst the 2024 season may be underway in Australia at the Tour Down Under but for some teams, the hard work behind the scenes is continuing.
For Soudal - Quick-Step, another signing has been to their roster in the form of Dutch U23 champion, Pepijn Reinderink. "It is special to become a professional with the team I have always dreamed of," was Reinderink's initial reaction the news.
"He has impressed us with his performance and his work ethic," Soudal - Quick-Step team manager Patrick Lefevere added. "He can climb, is good against the clock and likes to attack. We believe in young riders and he is the 5th newcomer from our youth team. That proves that our project is solid."
In total, the team has now seen 10 new additions including notably, Mikel Landa, Lefevere's business now seems to be finished.
