The KNWU announced which Dutch riders will receive a wild card for the Gravel World Championships, which will be held in Veneto next week. Laurens ten Dam, Niki Terpstra, Demi Vollering and Annemiek van Vleuten are among those selected to represent the Oranjes.
Each country may award a total of 20 wildcards to promote athletes to the elite category at the Gravel World Championships.
Dutch men selected:
Laurens ten Dam, Niki Terpstra, Ivar Slik, Jasper Ockeloen, Piotr Havik, Sebastiaan van Oranje and Lars Loohuis
Dutch women selected:
Tessa Neefjes, Noa Jansen, Femke Markus, Riejanne Markus, Annemiek van Vleuten, Demi Vollering and Yara Kastelijn
