In the last few days it has been reported that ASO and Netflix are likely to sign a deal, alongside eight World Tour teams, to
make a series revolving around this year's Tour de France which is similar to Formula 1's Drive to Survive. As the days go by, more details emerge on the project's plan.
The teams that will be involved in the project, if it goes forward, will be: Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl,
Jumbo-Visma,
INEOS Grenadiers,
Alpecin-Fenix,
Movistar Team,
Groupama - FDJ,
AG2R Citroën Team and
EF Education-EasyPost. The report from Cyclingnews also points to UAE Team Emirates' rejection of being in the project after being asked, although "the door is open for participating in the future."
