Cycling Market: Lourdes Oyarbide will ride next season for Laboral Kutxa

Basque cyclist Lourdes Oyarbide, who did not renew her contract with Movistar Team, will ride next season for Laboral Kutxa. The Spanish team is taking next season very seriously, as it already demonstrated with the signing of Ane Santesteban.
Oyarbide, 29, returns to her origins after several seasons with Movistar, proving to be an important rider in the WorldTour calendar. Laboral Kutxa thus closes its squad of 17 cyclists for 2023 (info from Marca's colleagues).
Naia Amondarain, Yurani Blanco, Idoia Eraso, Jessenia Meneses (new), Usoa Ostolaza (renewed), Nadia Quagliotto, Marta Romeu (renewed), Ane Santesteban (new), Aileen Schweikart, Debora Silvestri, Catalina Soto (new), Alba Teruel (renewed), Laura Tomasi (new), Cristina Tonetti (new), Eneritz Vadillo (renewed), Eri Yonamine (new) and Lourdes Oyarbide (new) will be the team's figures in 2024.

- They couldn’t convict him criminally because he paid up to escape it (that weird American possibility that ensures not all are equal before the law). He was convicted civilly but technically for committing crime. I on the other hand live in a country where unexplained damage to a baby in your care in theory leads to minimum 5 years of prison, if you admit an accident it’s more lenient but telling the truth that you don’t know how a bump on the skull happened exposes you to the as much risk as some who murder and rape.
