Cristian Scaroni takes second win at Adriatica Ionica Race as Filippo Zana seals overall win

The Adriatica Ionica Race has had it's finale today in Ascoli Piceno where a breakaway succeeded and saw a tight sprint finish into the line. Cristian Scaroni, after winning the opening stage, has returned to finish off the race with another win.

Scaroni was the fastest in the front group, beating Pau Miquel and Veljko Stojnic who finished second and third. The overall classification contenders remained together towards the finale and Filippo Zana conquered the overall classification.
