Eariler today, team Cofidis announced signing of three new riders for 2024 season. The first two - Nicolas Debeaumarché and Nolann Mahoudo come from French continental teams while Ludovic Robeet is experienced rider of Bingoal WB who'll bring depth for cobbled classics.
"Joining the Cofidis team, I don't see it as a culmination but as a super nice step as a cyclist. I rather have the profile of but what I like is fighting to help the collective and to support the leaders in the sprint and mid-mountain stages. Seeing a teammate win is a sign that your work is rewarded, that you you were right to fight and it's gratifying for everyone," said 25-year old Debeaumarché.
"It's really nice to sign with Cofidis. It's a bit of a weird feeling to be part of a team that I've watched on television since I was little. I'm going to do everything to fit in well within the structure and do everything to help the team at each of my races," added 20-year old Mahoudo.
"Signing for a team as prestigious as Cofidis is a relief. It allows me to go up a notch, to open the doors to even more prestigious races. one day. My dream, with Cofidis, would be to succeed in getting a good result at Paris-Roubaix," concluded the 29-year old Robeet.
