There wasn't much drama for the general classification riders on a relatively calm stage 7 at the 2023 Vuelta a Espana, save for a couple of late crashes to navigate although Jonas Vingegaard did make a noticeable appearance.
With the race all together heading into the intermediate sprint, the Dane of Jumbo-Visma sensed his chance and stole a march on his rivals to finish third and grab himself a handy two bonus seconds that see him leapfrog Enric Mas into the top-10.
Also, David de la Cruz and Jefferson Cepeda swap positions, with the Spaniard now up into the top-7 at his home Grand Tour.
