The transfer window is coming closer and closer to open, and another move is said to be confirmed as AG2R Citröen Team's
Clément Champoussin is said to be joining
Team Arkéa Samsic.
The Frenchman has been with AG2R since 2020 as a pro, although he had two stints as a trainee over the two seasons beforehand. He graduated to the Elites full-time in April 2020 and quickly became one of the team's main names. In 2021 he won the final mountain stage at the Vuelta a España in spectacular fashion up to Castro de Herville, aswell as finishing the race in 16th place and having several other prominent results throughout the year.
According to L'Équipe the 24-year old will be joining Arkéa Samsic, who will likely be entering the World Tour ranks, for a two-year deal where he will have the freedom to be a classics rider and likely one of the leaders of the French outfit.
