Felix Grossschartner has for several years been an important part of the
BORA - hansgrohe structure but it is reported that he will not be continuing in the German project from 2023 onwards.
Grossschartner joined BORA in 2018 after several years and continental and pro continental level, which had seen him gather attention over his performance in the hilly and mountainous races. Since joining BORA he became an important supporting rider, aswell as a leader on his own on several occasions.
Grossschartner was the winner of the 2019 Tour of Turkey, aswell as it's queen stage, making for his pro debuts which coincidentally were at World Tour level. However his level only increased, having taken stage wins at the Vuelta a Burgos and the Tour of the Alps in the coming years, whilst in 2022 he recently became double national champion of Austria.
Austria is a key territory for the team, however they will be loosing the national championship stripes at the end of the season. According to Velonews' Daniel Benson the 28-year old will be moving out at the end of the year, although there is no indication on where he could move next.
