Ben Healy takes Queen Stage of the Tour de Luxembourg with trademark, long-range, solo attack

On the Queen Stage of the 2023 Tour de Luxembourg, EF Education-EasyPost's Ben Healy has soloed to a spectacular stage victory to grab a hold of the general classification in the process.

After five riders went clear in the day's breakaway, the quintet entered the final circuit of the stage with less than a minute's advantage over the peloton. By the time the race summitted the Montée de Niklosbierg for the second time however, there were just two riders out front, Bastien Tronchon and Ben Healy.

As Healy summited the climb for the third and final climb he was a lone leader, although a chasing duo of Marc Hirschi and Dylan Teuns were chasing hard behind. There was no catching Healy though as the Irishman took another, trademark, long-range solo victory.
