The eighth and final spot in Team Visma | Lease a Bike's Giro d'Italia lineup was wide open and up for debate, but it seems now that Hungarian, Attila Valter is the man to be selected.
This report comes via Wielerflits who say that Valter will complete Team Visma | Lease a Bike's team at the first Grand Tour of 2024, not the much-rumoured Grand Tour debut of Norwegian prodigy, Johannes Staune-Mittet.
A two-time Hungarian national champion, both on the road and against the clock, Valter also has a notable victory in the overall of the Tour de Hongrie, With three Grand Tours under his belt, including three prior Giro d'Italia's, Valter is an experienced pick.
