The 24-year old has developed as a quality puncheur over the last few years, and it was over the last few months as he raced with the Italian national team often that he managed to take the best results of his career, winning both first and final stage of the recent Adriatica Ionica Race. Scaroni will already be put to use as he is set to make his debut at the Tour de Pologne this weekend, a race that will suit his attributes as a rider who likes the hilly terrain.
