The 203-kilometer long race saw a circuit that included a couple of bergs that saw some attacks throughout the day, however as expected a sprint was the outcome of the race which sees it's calendar clash with Paris-Nice and the upcoming Tirreno-Adriatico.
Lotto Soudal did a good job in bringing the 19-year old in strong position for the sprint, De Lie was the first to open the sprint and took a dominant win, surviving the approach of Dries de Bondt and Hugo Hofstetter who completed the podium.
