Arkéa - B&B Hotels reveal youthful and opportunistic lineup for 2024 Giro d'Italia

With the countdown to the 2024 Giro d'Italia fully underway, Arkéa - B&B Hotels have become the latest team to unveil their lineup for the opening Grand Tour of the season, putting emphasis on youth.

“The 2024 Giro d'Italia will be the first Grand Tour contested by Ewen Costiou, who has stood out since the start of the season," previews the team's sports director, Emmanuel Hubert. "The objective set for Ewen in Italy is above all to learn and gain experience, which does not exclude the fact that he may harbor ambition. Louis Barré and Donavan Grondin will also have their first experience of a three-week race during the 107th edition of the Giro d'Italia."

As noted on the official team website, the average age of the Arkéa - B&B Hotels lineup for the Giro d'Italia is just over 24 years old. "The Arkéa - B&B Hotels team will evolve, in Italy, in a stage-chasing configuration with the possibility for each of the riders to seize the opportunities that present themselves to them," Hubert continues. "David Dekker, 2nd last year at San Salvo, and Jenthe Biermans who can, on two different registers – sprint and/or arrivals in small groups – manage to do well in the game.”
