The Tour de Pologne will have it's fourth stage today, however it will miss several riders as the entire Alpecin-Deceuninck team have withdrawn following several positive Covid-19 cases.
The Belgian team stated on social media that the tests on all riders turned negative, however the decision was taken to abandon the race completely as five members of the team's staff had tested positive, making it the interest of everyone involve to leave the race.
Although it did not have any of it's leaders present, the Belgian team was counting on Jakub Mareczko to perform in the flat stages, whilst Stefano Oldani sat in 18th place after the third stage and was in the fight for the overall classification.
Stage four into Sanok will see the riders go through a hilly route that may see changes in the GC. Sergio Higuita will enter the day in the yellow jersey after winning the steep hilltop finish in stage three
