The World Tour teams have been slowly revealing their jerseys for the 2025 season but the truth is little has been changing. At max, most teams just feature tiny details that are different in comparison to this season. Not Team Jayco AlUla though, who show off their new purple jersey.
The MAAP-designed jersey gets his purple from the idea of the 'desert night skies', something familiar to those who live in Australia but also Saudi Arabia, where the team's two title sponsors come from. It is a significant change from this year's white, blue and orange jersey - or even the orange and black jersey worn during the Tour de France.
“The GreenEDGE Cycling adventure into the WorldTour as the first Australian professional cycling team has been an incredible journey and the team has expanded in many ways,” team manager Gerry Ryan said in a press release. “As we prepare to head into our 14th season we are very proud and excited to be collaborating with a world-leading Australian brand, MAAP.”
