UAE Team Emirates are currently in their final days of the opening team training camp towards the 2025 season and they have in the meantime unveiled their new jersey. Alongside it comes a new title sponsor for the new year, which may actually increase the team's budget even further.
The team already has an extremely high budget, influenced by UAE's state-sponsored budget, which is somewhere in the area of €50-60 million a season. This are the finances that have allowed the team to form a very strong and experienced staff and logistics lineup to support a team that includes many of the current peloton's stars but also a heap of young talents that could develop into the next generation's winners.
Reportedly, Tadej Pogacar has a salary of €8 million a season after his historic 2024 season in which he won two monuments, the World Championships for the first time, the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France double alongside 12 stage wins and more...
The team also presented it's new bike into 2025, the Colnago Y1R which comes as the team's new aero bike. However the good news for the Emirati team do not end here, as XRG becomes a new title sponsor. The UAE-based company is focused on clean energy sources and brings in another billionaire partner to the team.
