After being beaten by Tadej Pogacar at Flèche Wallone, Mattias Skjelmose looks into Liège-Bastogne-Liège result

Mattias Skjelmose is on terrific form and looking for success at Liège-Bastogne-Liège. He has talked about how he would be targeting a podium as he has achieved at Flèche Wallone, as he leads a strong Trek - Segafredo through the toughest and last of the Ardennes classics.

Second atop the Mur de Huy and eighth at Amstel Gold Race were both strong signs of form from the 22-year old Dane who will be Trek's main weapon this Sunday. However he won't be the only one as Giulio Ciccone has also had a strong spring campaign with both wins and strong GC results to his name, and has this Wednesday finished fifth at Flèche Wallone.

The team could see both Bauke Mollema and Juan Pedro López on the offensive as they have for the past few weeks hinted at that type of racing. The lineup is filled with quality riders featuring Tony Gallopin, Julien Bernard and Jacopo Mosca.

Trek - Segafredo for Liège-Bastogne-Liège:

Giulio Ciccone, Julien Bernard, Tony Gallopin, Mattias Skjelmose, Juan Pedro López, Bauke Mollema and Jacopo Mosca.
