4 out of 4! Lidl-Trek wins once again at Deutschland Tour as he sprints to stage 3 win

Lidl-Trek are dominating the Deutschland Tour and have now won their fourth stage out of four. After the prologue, all three sprints have been won by current race leader Mads Pedersen or, as was the case today, Jonathan Milan who took his third win of the week.

The breakaway of the day featured four riders in Matteo Vercher, Taco van der Hoorn, Marius Mayrhofer and Jorgen Nordhagen. In the peloton Santiago Buitrago attacked in the peloton and bridged across to the front group.

Buitrago eventually kept pushing, going off the front with Vercher, but the pace in the peloton was high in a time where there wasn't much climbing and eventually the race came back together.

It was then another textbook leadout from Mads Pedersen who, despite leading the race, put himself in the head and led Milan out in the uphill sprint. Milan had no serious trouble to take the victory, ahead of Max Kanter and Jordi Meeus.
