World Tour racing resumes on the 2nd of August. After the end of the Tour de France always comes one of the hardest and most iconic one-day races of the World Tour calendar in the Clàsica San Sebastiàn - which happens every year in the cycling-loving Basque Country. We take a look at the
prize money available.
The race will feature the regular prize money for World Tour one-day races which totals at €40.000 distributed amongst the first 20 riders across the finish line, with an added €2000 for smaller awards. The winner of the race will receive €16.000 in prize.
The winners of the 'points classification', 'mountains classification', 'youth classification' and best-placed rider from the Basque Country or Navarra will receive €500 each and earn a trip to the final podium.
