Almeida has won Basque County, Romandie and Suisse this year, with 5 stages across them. He also beat Vingegaard to a stage at Paris Nice, the second time in the year he beat him in a summit finish. I'm a fan of Pidcock, but let's not pretend like his road palmares is equal, let alone his season.
