- Pidcock and Q36.5 got ahead of themselves. The Vuelta's punchier climbs and its avoidance of stacking hard climbs makes it more suited to Pidcock. The next step is the Giro, which has more of the long climbs, but a similar field to the Vuelta. Then, if that goes well the Tour is next. Although, given his injuries at Catalunya, he'd not have gone to the Giro on form. In that case, the Vuelta would have been better
