- Pidcock and Q36.5 got ahead of themselves. The Vuelta's punchier climbs and its avoidance of stacking hard climbs makes it more suited to Pidcock. The next step is the Giro, which has more of the long climbs, but a similar field to the Vuelta. Then, if that goes well the Tour is next.
Although, given his injuries at Catalunya, he'd not have gone to the Giro on form. In that case, the Vuelta would have been better
- You got to admire him and Almeida who when asked to serve a stronger team lead, don't think too much of their own goals, but are subservient to the task at hand and give it all.
