Pogi with 3 monument wins, podiums in all five of them, Tour de France, World Champs, European Champs… what more does he need? Can a cyclist even win this award? Yes he can if you're American and your name is Lance Armstrong (the doper). I think cycling is just less relevant for the fvcking media if there are no Americans amongst them. Pogi is clearly one of the most dominant sports figures ever, where as Alcaraz isn't really coming close to Novak, Federer or Nadal. Not yet, maybe in the next 5 to 6 years, but not yet. It was all a farce. Ad acta!!!

  Pogačar can win the entire UCI World Tour Calendar races, and he still won't win the Laureus Award because Cycling is not a major sport in majority people's opinion. It can't compete with Football, Tennis, Golf or F1 or several other major sports. For Cycling fans, he's the deserving winner by far...It's not even close.

  I think Seixas has improved a ton from the Strade Bianche race where Pogi won by a minute over Seixas. LBL will set the hierarchy between Pogi, Seixas and Evenepoel. It's going to be exciting.

  Sexias will get a lesson in spades fromEv and Pog. So far he has come up against riders on the downward spiral of their careers. It will make good watching if he can produce the goods but he has not come up against riders of Pogs calibre yet.
