Ninove guarantees continuation as ending city to Omloop Het Nieuwsblad for years to come

Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Ninove will continue working together for three years to come. Ninove will be the finish of the Belgian one-day race until 2025. The finish line will move from the Onderwijslaan to the Elisabethlaan

"We are immensely pleased to once again be the host city for the beautiful opening classic of both the men and women. Cycling is a celebration and connects people. We are already looking forward to Saturday, 25 February 2023," said the mayor of Ninove, Tania De Jonghe.

It will be 207 kilometres for the men and 132 kilometres for the women in next year's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. In addition to the Haaghoek-Leberg duo, the Molenberg and Lange Munte return to the course.

"Next awaits the duo Haaghoek-Leberg followed by Berendries and Elverenberg-Vossenhol. In full finals, the Muur van Geraardsbergen and the Bosberg are also not missing in 2023, after which we finish 12 km further down the Elisabethlaan," read the statement by the organisation.
