Lucinda Brand wins Ethias Cross Sint-Niklaas - Waaslandcross

The European champion took another win this afternoon at the Waaslandcross, taking her 20th win of the season.
In the tricky conditions at Sint-Niklaas, the technical course made for a very challenging day in the circuit and it was Lucinda Brand who raised her arms in glory once again after taking another dominant win, this times beating Annemarie Worst and Denise Betsema who completed the podium of the final race of the reason.

- Didn't like to see Kopecky and Wiebes attacking after a big crash in the leading group. Poetic justice in the end. Ferrand-Prevot hit the deck in that same crash. And in Catalunya UAE also increased the pace at the front of the bunch when some of the favourites went down. No bad karma in this case though.heinz12-04-2025
