Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado has secured a fourth victory of the season already this Monday afternoon at Superprestige Jaarmarktcross Niel. The Dutch star dominated right from the start, taking a clear victory ahead of Lucinda Brand and Marion Norbert Riberolle.
Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado was not hanging about on lap 1, firing clear of the chasers early and building up an advantage over around 9 seconds over Lucinda Brand by the end of the first lap. By the time the Dutchwoman had crossed the line for a second time that advantage had extended further to 25 seconds over Brand.
On the penultimate lap, Brand slid out and required a bike change, allowing the in-form Sara Casasola to launch ahead into 2nd. Given Alvarado's dominance up ahead, the battle for 2nd was becoming the most exciting part of the race, with Marion Norbert Riberolle hunting down both Brand and Casasoa. In the end, Brand took 2nd and Norbert Riberolle 3rd.
