Organizer ASO has announced 22 teams that will be fighting for eternal glory at Tour de France Femmes. The list naturally includes big teams such as SD Worx - Protime, but also seven wildcards have been distributed. Among them the striking name is controversial Uzbekistan's Tashkent City team.
World Tour formations which are obliged to participate are: AG Insurance-Soudal, Canyon-SRAM, Ceratizit-WNT, FDJ-Suez, Fenix-Deceuninck, Human Powered Health, Lidl-Trek, Liv-AlUla-Jayco, Movistar, Roland, UAE Team ADQ and Uno-X Mobility.
Cofidis and Tashkent City have received a mandatory wildcard based on their performance in 2023. In addition Arkéa-B&B Hotels, EF Education-Cannondale, Laboral Kutxa Fundacion Euskadi, Lotto Dstny Ladies and St. Michel-Mavic-Auber93 have also received a regular wildcard.
On paper, these teams are a continental UCI team, but may participate in competitions in the Women's World Tour by invitation. VolkerWessels (perviously Parkhotel Valkenburg) also hoped for a wildcard, but did not get one.
