Visma's new star Matthew Brennan takes another win - Biniam Girmay outsprinted at Rund um Köln

Team Visma | Lease a Bike have had another tremendous unlucky season thus far with most of it's leaders coming down with injuries or illnesses at bad moments. One man that has escaped this is Matthew Brennan, who racing for the team's development ranks today, has beaten the Tour de France green jersey Biniam Girmay at the Rund um Köln.

The German race featured some hills and wind, and this has caused the peloton to split just outside the final 50 kilometers which thinned down slightly the amount of sprinters that would contest the race. It came down to a bunch sprint in the end, where the British sprinter beat Biniam Girmay and Itamar Einhorn to take his seventh win of the season.
