Video: Sergio Higuita's powerful sprint, unbeatable at Itzulia Basque Country's stage 5

Sergio Higuita won the fifth stage of the Itzulia Basque Country after winning the group sprint to the line. The Colombian demonstrated his speed by outsprinting fast men like Andrea Bagioli, Mattias Skjelmose, Matteo Sobrero or Mauro Schmid in the final finish.

This victory also allows the Colombian BORA-hansgrohe rider to climb to eighth place in the general classification. He is 38 seconds behind Jonas Vingegaard and only 6 seconds behind Skjelmose for third place on the podium. This took place after the peloton was reduced in the final climbs of the day, and he was by far the fastest in the final meters.
