Paris-Roubaix is an unique race in the calendar which requires plenty of different methods to race it. From unique mechanical setups, injury protection and even training methods. Mads Pedersen has motorpaced behind a 4-wheeler in the run-up to his final big goal of the spring.
A video from Trek - Segafredo shows Pedersen on a training ride ahead of Roubaix, riding a cobbled sector behind another unusual vehicle - replicating the typical motorbike motorpacing. Whether it was effective or not is up for the Dane to know, but he did manage to ride into a strong fourth place in the velodrome.
