For the second time in her career, Lotte Kopecky has taken the win at Strade Bianche Donne. The World Champion led home an all-star podium, completed by Elisa Longo Borghini and Demi Vollering.
Heading into the finale, victory looked set to be between either Kopecky or Longo Borghini. With the Italian on the front of the duo, Kopecky changed gear and launched a brutal attack for which even the Lidl-Trek leader had no answer to.

- His reason doesn't make sense. He can just take a break after Giro before a build up to Vuelta. There are a number of months before Vuelta begins and there should be enough time to have a few weeks of rest. If the priority is to be a GT rider, this is another good opportunity to expose himself. Unless, of course, he doesn't like the idea of fighting for GC, then it all makes sense that he wants to avoid riding another GT in a year.KerisVroom26-05-2025
