Prize Money. Strade Bianche is on the road on the 2nd of March. The Italian classic is one of the most recent in the peloton but was one of the most beloved and unique. In the gravel roads of Tuscany, every year the best classics riders fight for an iconic win
The prize money in total for the race will be a total of €40.000. This will be split between the first 20 riders crossing the line; taking into consideration that the winner will win €16.000.

- Funny he focused so much on that and didn’t mention the situation for Lotte at all. To be fair about the men thing, it might be a mechanical translation problem, I think in Dutch the size of a team or group of humans is expressed by the same word as the male sex, a bit like in English when you speak about humanity in relation to the planet you say man. We all know this cheapo freebie of a website has no proofreading budget and that kind of makes it more human and funny, also teaches you to read between the lines to understand what they’re trying to report often because so much is badly translated.Mistermaumau21-04-2025

- People were saying stuff like that years ago but in the meantime he’s proved himself often enough. Do you reallythink he’s going to stop working and improving until he can match the best? It’s just a matter of time. Once he notices the mountains are costing him the title, he’ll start making plans how to overcome that, for now he is still too cocky to understand you improve most by accepting you have a weakness and that’s what you should work on most.Mistermaumau21-04-2025

- Also, it seems fans and he have narrowed down strategies for winning to one, doing long-range solos. Maybe in-race he should re-evaluate whether that strategy is advantageous under actual conditions, like with a tiring headwind and two phenomenal chasers working behind him, surely he was made aware of that pretty quick?Mistermaumau21-04-2025
- I don’t think he is very well advised in-house, whether that is because they’re happy for him to do things this way or whether he just isn’t good at taking advice, I don’t know and it probably doesn’t matter, not until he will reach a “bad” patch because as many before him discovered, it can be very long to climb out a bad patch if you don’t know or accept what will help you get through it.Mistermaumau21-04-2025
