VIDEO: Joao Almeida among a number of riders to go down hard as 2025 Tour de France rocked by another crash

The 2025 Tour de France peloton has been rocked yet again, by a big crash. This time, right in the group of GC contenders towards the end of stage 7 as the race approached the Mur de Bretagne.

At just over 6km to go UAE Team Emirates - XRG and Team Visma | Lease a Bike were fighting for position at the front. At the back however, the much reduced peloton was rocked by a violent crash at the back of the peloton was most notably, Joao Almeida, Santiago Buitrago, Enric Mas, Ben Healy, Guillaume Martin and more going down hard.
