VIDEO: Jasper Philipsen attempts to physically block counter-attacks in move of intimidation

With 80km of stage 18 left at the 2023 Tour de France, a three-man breakaway leads by around 40 seconds. As riders from the peloton attempted to try and launch counter-attacks, Jasper Philipsen decided to take matters into his own hands.

Pascal Eenkhorn had admitted to ride clear from the Alpecin-Deceuninck-led peloton and bridge the gap to the leaders. Philipsen though, who is keen to take his 5th stage win at this year's edition of the race physically blocked the Lotto Dstny rider in an attempt to stop him in a needlessly physical and intimidating move.
