VIDEO | Eduard Prades "off the rails" as Tour of Hellas celebration turns wrong

Today marked the start of the Tour of Hellas, with Bolton Equities Black Spoke Pro Cycling's Aaron Gate taking the opening win from a solo move. The 2.1 race has had Trek-Segafredo and several Pro Teams at the startline, and Eduard Prades came into the race with ambitions - having finished the opening stage in second place.

It was a second place that came with several mishaps though. As the Spaniard crossed the line, he celebrated a stage win he didn't get, but as if that wasn't disappointing enough already for Prades, he crashed over the finish line.

As images reveal, it would appear as if Prades' saddle broke off it's rails, causing Prades to crash behind his back in terrifying fashion.
