Today we will find out where the Maillot Jaune of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes will end up. Last year's winner, Demi Vollering started the day over a minute down and as such, the Dutchwoman has wasted no time in launching a massive and brutal attack.
After sending Team SD Worx - Protime teammate Niamh Fisher-Black to the front of GC group on the Glandon, things exploded and with over 53km to go on the stage and around 2.5km of first of two HC climbs on the day, Vollering launched her attack, immediately distancing Katarzyna Niewiadoma. With a tricky descent and Alpe d'Huez still to come, is this the Tour de France winning move?
