VIDEO: Crazy final sprint at the Tour de l'Ain between Storer and Cepeda

On a dramatic finale of stage 2 at the 2023 Tour de l'Ain, Michael Storer and Jefferson Alexander Cepeda battled so fiercely the Groupama - FDJ slid across the line following contact between the pair.
Cepeda took the stage win, leaving Storer with a double blow of the slide and the lack of victory. Watch for yourself in the video below and decide who you think is at fault for the incident!

Any athlete treating this remotely like an amateur sport (in terms of weight training, nutrition, lack of altitude camps, and so on) will not succeed. - MSR no competition? From the Cipressa onward, that was the most amazing MSR finish I've ever watched! Same with Paris-Roubaix, which together with Flanders had the racing start much, much earlier than before. Perhaps by the finale things are decided, in some cases, but the racing has been incredible.RidesHills01-05-2025

- He and Pogacar both have taken insane risks on descents, particularly in time trials. I have to imagine most cycling fans would be happy to see them back off a bit.

Good to see Storer in the mix! Not sure why he deviated from his line and banged shoulders after the finish line to bring himself down?
