Valentin Madouas had shown his immense talent this year with podium results at the Tour des Flandres and the Tour de France, however his first win of the year came today at the Tour du Doubs.
The Groupama - FDJ rider took advantage of the hilly route of the French race to put on a late attack that proved successful. Madouas managed to cross the line first, just barely managing to hold off the chasing group in which Mathieu Burgaudeau and Matis Louvel sprinted to complete the podium.
