Uno-X keep building strong Danish block with signing of Andreas Kron - "Andreas has tremendous potential"

26-year old Andreas Kron is joining Uno-X Mobility in 2025! The Lotto Dstny rider has suffered a crash on the sixth day of the Vuelta a España and has decided not to start the stage today as a result of a concussion, but in the space of hours his agreement with the Norwegian team has been revealed for the upcoming two seasons.

Kron's move to Uno-X was expected seeing his contract with the team was running out and the team is actively seeking to sign all Norwegian and Danish talents in the peloton. Kasper Asgreen is expected to be announced soon in a team that already includes strong classics riders in Alexander Kristoff, Jonas Abrahamsen, Magnus Cort Nielsen and Soren Waerenskjold for example... Kron will be another figure in a team that grows in quality by the year.

“We are very proud to welcome Andreas Kron to Uno-X Mobility Cycling for the next two seasons. Andreas has tremendous potential, as his results clearly demonstrate," team manager Thor Hushovd said, in a message shared on social media. "We believe he can develop even further with us, and we will do everything we can to support his growth and progress as a cyclist".

Kron has not had the best of seasons in 2024, but the same cannot be said of last year where he really showed off his talent. In 2023 he was fourth and Amstel Gold Race, ninth at the European Championships, won stage 2 of the Vuelta a España; and in previous years he has also taken wins in races such as the Volta a Catalunnya and Tour de Suisse. He is a pure puncheur, who can also climb - as made evident by his 14th place in the first mountain stage of the Vuelta just a few days ago.
