Under-23 rider misses out on time-trial start as bike arrives late

In the junior men's time-trial World Championships the success fell to Joshua Tarling, however the day has also seen some dramatic moments, as Czech rider Pavel Novak had his effort almost tarnished by a missing bike.
Novak arrived at the start area but his bike hadn't, and although he managed to start the race in time, it was due to a rushed preparation in the very last seconds. The youngster nevertheless managed to ride into 15th place on the day.
