Pidcock moves ahead of Philipsen
The first notable change appears in sixth place. Tom Pidcock climbs one spot to sixth, edging Jasper Philipsen. The Briton now totals 3,871.50 points, while the Belgian sits seventh on 3,805.62.
Pidcock’s ride at the Montreal Worlds added 115 UCI points to his tally and delivered one of the week’s standout moves near the front. The gap between the two remains small, and further shifts can happen in the final weeks of the season.
Wout van Aert stays eighth, while Felix Gall holds ninth. The rider making a meaningful jump inside the top 10 is
Mathieu van der Poel. Third in Montreal, the Dutchman rises three places to tenth with 3,404.62 points. His Worlds podium lifts him in a zone where the margins are relatively tight.
The headline act: Brandon McNulty
If one move stands out above the rest, it is
Brandon McNulty’s. The American world champion surges an eye-catching 37 places to 29th in the ranking, on 1,966.89 points. McNulty is among the biggest winners from the Worlds, and his victory propels him firmly into the top 30.
Also noteworthy is the leap by his compatriot Quinn Simmons, fourth at the World Championships, who moves up 14 places to 24th with 2,092.82 points. The American champion is having another remarkable final stretch of the season and, if he carries on these legs, could enter the top-20 by the end of the year.

Matteo Jorgenson may have been contributed to McNulty's title even more greatly and was rewarded with an eighth poisition. Enough to ensure the Visma rider gains six positions to grab a 33rd position.
The strong performance by the U.S. squad in Montreal is clearly reflected in the individual standings.
Michael Matthews also makes a huge jump
Another major mover this week is
Michael Matthews. The Australian's phenomenal ride on the Montréal circuit earned him a spot on the podium and a silver medal. After a complicated season, this result ensures Matthews' return to the prominent part of the ranking.
Matthews rockets 71 places up the ranking to close in onto the top-40 with a current 42nd spot. At 1,541.89 points, Matthews is suddenly less than 100 points shy off making the front page of the rankings.

Among other significant moves is Filippo Ganna, second in the Worlds time trial, who climbs three places to 43rd. Meanwhile, Antonio Tiberi achieved a steady rise thanks to a second place overall at the CRO Race. The Italian is currently 56th.
A still very stable top 10
Beyond the moves by Pidcock and Van der Poel, the sharp end of the ranking remains notably steady. Pogacar, Evenepoel, Del Toro, Seixas, and Vingegaard hold their places, while Van Aert and Gall also remain unchanged.
The post-Montreal Worlds update therefore yields a two-speed picture: few changes among the headline names, and a flurry of movement in the middle order, especially among riders who delivered big results at the World Championships.
As the calendar approaches its final stretch, every result takes on growing importance in a ranking that keeps Pogačar in a commanding position, while the places just behind continue to shift.
