UCI Rankings update - Tadej Pogacar continues at the top, Remco Evenepoel second now ahead of Wout van Aert

The UCI rankings have been updated following this weekend and changes have taken place. The standings over the last 12 months continue to see Tadej Pogacar in the lead, but Remco Evenepoel has come closer after his results in the Volta a Catalunya.

As Pogacar continues to perform throughout the spring, he maintains the lead with over 5000 points. As Pogacar is set to headline the Tour des Flandres this weekend, more points are expected. Remco Evenepoel and Wout van Aert ride just over 500 points behind, with the World Champion riding into second place due to his second spot at the Volta a Catalunya.

The rankings this year see the likes of Primoz Roglic, Jasper Philipsen, David Gaudu and Neilson Powless riding up the standings. With the climax of the spring laying ahead more points are to be distributed throughout the next few weeks.
