TV Guide - Where and When to Watch the 2025 Itzulia Basque Country

From the 7th to the 12th of April, the peloton will take on Itzulia Basque Country; a race that is well known for it's course designed for climbers and puncheurs in a region full of cycling history. Here's when and where to watch it.
The race will be broadcast in the traditional channels, most notably Discovery, MAX and Eurosport. Furthermore it can be watched in EITB in the Basque Country and FloBikes in North America, potentially amongst others.
Estimated start and finish times Itzulia Basque Country 2025:
Stage 1: 14:15-17:00CET
Stage 2: 12:49-17:30CET
Stage 3: 13:35-17:30CET
Stage 4: 13:15-17:30CET
Stage 5: 13:11-17:30CET
Stage 6: 13:39-17:30CET

- What initially looked like a very clever move by Alex Aranburu to win the stage turned out to be a 'too good to be true' moment. To be fair to him though, the race organizers did a pretty terrible job of blocking off that side of the roundabout.

- Why just Pogacar, when he highlights the superb results of others annd compares it to 5 years ago (when carb-based feeding was treated differently, for whatever that is worth). Imagine asking Vingegaard, who recovered incredibly quickly from his awful injury. His climbing times were better than ever before. Does that mean he’s doing something nefarious? I doubt it. But I am pretty sure he had some TUEs that aided his recovery. I am okay with that, like I’m okay with using the cars to come back after a mechanical. If transparency is asked for, it should be asked for more broadly. That gives away a competitive advantage so it’s never going to happen.RidesHills09-04-2025

- Riders keep this information to themselves because other riders could create a strategy around a weak point, and he has weak points, all athletes do. I'd agree to it though if they offered forty million bucks.awp09-04-2025
