Tudor Pro Cycling Team took a big step in 2023 as they climbed to ProTeam level and signed Arvid de Kleijn as their leader, but into 2024 they'll be having a whole array of new leaders. The Swiss team has entered the transfers season with a blast, announcing 7 transfers this morning.
Among them are big names who are expected to be team leaders in the future. The Swiss team is looking to make a big impact in the cycling calendar and they have signed Alberto Dainese, Giro d'Italia stage winner, as another strong sprinter to boost their ranks in the flat races where they have been focusing.
For the hilly races and cobbled classics UAE Team Emirates' Matteo Trentin has been signed, the Italian veteran is set to enjoy the freedom and leadership which he's not experienced since making his latest move. Michael Storer, currently in the fight for the overall victory at the Tour de l'Ain, is another big transfer and could well become the team's new hope for the mountainous races.
Marius Mayrhofer, winner of this year's Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, is another of the signings further bolstering the team's depth in the sprints and classics. He is one of four German riders joining the team, with Team DSM-Firmenich's Florian Stork, Alpecin-Deceuninck's Alexander Krieger and Hannes Wilksch being added into the mix.
