Tour de France 2026 Classifications update Stage 19 - Tadej Pogacar extends Yellow Jersey lead as Evenepoel puts time into Del Toro and Carapaz takes over polka-dots

The 2026 Tour de France classifications will shift across three weeks of racing, from the Grand Départ in Barcelona on 4 July to the final stage in Paris on 26 July. Across time trials, sprint stages, breakaway opportunities, and the high mountains, each day can alter the shape of the race for the yellow and the Tour’s other major jerseys. Here we look at the race's classifications and update them on a daily - including the fight for the yellow jersey.

As the race develops, it tracks the key movements in the fight for the yellow jersey, green jersey, polka-dot jersey, and white jersey.

The General Classification remains the central battle of the Tour, but the wider standings often tell their own stories as the race moves through different terrain. Sprint stages can reshape the points competition, mountain days can transform the polka-dot jersey fight, and the white jersey battle can change quickly when young contenders are tested across repeated days of pressure.

With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points, and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.

Tadej Pogacar has extended his Tour de France lead to 7:11 over Remco Evenepoel after his victory on Alpe d’Huez. Isaac del Toro remains third at 9:42, with Paul Seixas still fourth and now only 24 seconds away from the final podium place.

Lenny Martinez has climbed two positions to fifth after spending the day in the breakaway, moving ahead of Mattias Skjelmose and Juan Ayuso. Ayuso has fallen from fifth to seventh after losing time on the final climb.

Richard Carapaz is another major mover, rising two places from tenth to eighth. Tom Pidcock and Jordan Jegat have each slipped one position but remain inside the top ten.

Further down, Tobias Halland Johannessen has moved above Davide Piganzoli into 13th, while Sepp Kuss has climbed one place to 15th.

Mads Pedersen remains firmly in control of the green jersey after increasing his total to 502 points, giving him a 57-point advantage over Jasper Philipsen on 445.

Biniam Girmay stays third on 361 points, with Max Kanter fourth and Olav Kooij fifth. Tadej Pogacar remains sixth on 185, ahead of Søren Wærenskjold on 159.

Remco Evenepoel has moved up one place to eighth on 140 points, while Isaac del Toro has climbed two positions to ninth on 132. Mauro Schmid drops two places to tenth, one point behind Del Toro.

Richard Carapaz has taken the polka-dot jersey by a single point after a major haul from the breakaway on stage 19.

The Ecuadorian has climbed from third to first on 91 points, moving ahead of Tadej Pogacar on 90 and Valentin Paret-Peintre on 84. Pogacar and Paret-Peintre have each dropped one place despite remaining firmly in contention.

Lenny Martinez has risen two positions to fifth on 37 points, while Tobias Halland Johannessen has also gained two places and now sits eighth. Paul Seixas has dropped from fifth to seventh, level with Isaac del Toro on 34 points.

Isaac del Toro remains in the white jersey, but Paul Seixas is still only 24 seconds behind heading into the final major mountain stage.

Lenny Martinez has climbed above Juan Ayuso into third after his long spell in the breakaway and second-place finish on Alpe d’Huez. Martinez now trails Del Toro by 3:18, while Ayuso has dropped to fourth at 6:16.

Matthew Riccitello is the biggest mover further down, rising two positions to eighth. Raul Garcia Pierna and Kevin Vauquelin each fall one place to ninth and tenth respectively.
