The 2026 Tour de France startlist is now complete, with Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team becoming the final team to confirm their eight-rider lineup for Barcelona.
Tom Pidcock leads the selection for the team’s first-ever Tour de France, three years after the project was launched. Already a stage winner on Alpe d’Huez, the Briton returns to the race as the face of a new project rather than one part of the INEOS Grenadiers structure. Pidcock also brings recent form into July after winning the Andorra MoraBanc Classica, giving Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team a proven stage-winning threat for terrain where the race becomes harder to control.
Pidcock will be joined by Xabier Mikel Azparren, Chris Harper, Quinten Hermans, Damien Howson, Xandro Meurisse, Brent Van Moer and Fred Wright.

Final lineup adds British champion boost

Fred Wright adds another British storyline after winning the national road race title last Sunday, while the rest of the squad gives the debutants a mix of climbing support, Grand Tour experience and breakaway options.
Wright’s selection comes only days after one of the biggest wins of his career. The 26-year-old arrives in Barcelona as British national champion and gives the team another rider suited to rolling stages, breakaways and the positioning battles that shape the opening week.
Harper and Howson bring climbing support and Grand Tour experience around Pidcock, while Hermans, Meurisse and Van Moer give the squad riders capable of moving into aggressive race situations. Azparren also starts on home roads, with the Grand Depart taking place in Barcelona.
Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will not arrive with the depth of the established Tour super-teams, but their first selection gives them several routes into the race: Pidcock for stage-winning terrain, Wright in fresh national champion colours, and a group built to get into moves rather than simply survive three weeks.

Ryder: Tour start is “not an end point”

Team principal Douglas Ryder framed the announcement as a milestone in the project’s development rather than the completion of it. “From day one, the Tour de France has been a clear objective for this project,” said Ryder in the team’s announcement. “To now be on the start line is an important step, but more importantly, it reflects the consistency of the work that’s gone into building this team.”
Ryder also made clear that the team do not intend to treat their first Tour as a ceremonial appearance. “We come with a group that combines experience, versatility and the mindset we want to race with,” he said. “Our approach is simple: we’ll race proactively, look for opportunities every day and make sure we’re present throughout all three weeks.”
The team will be officially presented in Barcelona before making their Tour de France debut on Saturday, closing the list of confirmed lineups for the 2026 race.
