"To wait it is to humiliate him" - Antonio Alix believes waiting for Sepp Kuss at Angliru would be 'humiliating' to American and other riders

There is a groundswell of opinion regarding Jumbo-Visma and what is happening in the Vuelta a Espana with Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic attacking Sepp Kuss that is against what is happening to the American.

However, Eurosport pundit Antonio Alix is of the opposite opinion, and believes that what would really be disrespectful to Kuss would be for his teammates to wait for him: "You are assuming that Kuss wanted them to wait for him and stop, my interpretation is that to honor cycling the best has to win."

"If they wait for Kuss to win the Vuelta and go in hand in hand they are humiliating Kuss and they are humiliating the rest of the cyclists. The best rider has to win and if the best rider is going to be Vingegaard then that's the way it is. I think what is happening to him is quite difficult to understand, but to wait it is to humiliate him and the rest of them."
