Tim Merlier has taken victory from a bunch sprint finish at the 2023 GP de Fourmies.
Five riders were clear heading into the final 30km, with a 1:29 advantage over the peloton. The last man standing of the break was Dries de Bondt but just entering the final 10km, he too was caught.
From there the sprint seemed inevitable and in the final push to the line it was Tim Merlier of Soudal - Quick-Step who proved the quickest.
